Parents all over Manhattan are breathing a collective sigh of relief that Trinity has dumped its two families at a time interview policy for kindergarten. Last year, unless you were connected to the school or a celebrity, you interviewed with a strange couple. Not this year. From Trinity’s website:
The interview appointment is arranged for both child and parents. Please plan to spend about an hour with us on that day. Parents will have the opportunity to meet individually with an admissions officer. Simultaneously, your son or daughter will meet and work with another member of the admissions staff and have the chance to draw pictures and ask questions. While the parent meeting is individual, the child visit is designed for two children at a time.
